Respiratory – cough (spastic), whooping cough, bronchitis, externally – compresses for tonsillitis, phlegm expectorant and mucolytic (makes mucus less thick and sticky)

Anti-parasitic – worms (intestines), lice, scabies, crabs (Mix few drops of thyme essential oil with coconut oil and leave on the affected area for about an hour. Repeat as needed.)

Antispasmodic – (seizures – oil or tincture), spastic cough

Antiseptic and Anti-fungal – (thymol) acne, wounds, inflammation, athletes foot – make into paste, mouth wash (tea) – help prevent cavities and gingivitis

We can use leaves and blossoms of the plant. Thyme was used as room purifier.
